Leadership

Leadership can be defined as the act of guiding, directing, and advising. Over the course of my graduate education, I took a leadership role in many different student groups and activities, but the most significant experiences were those during my term as Vice President of ALISS, the Information School's Association of Library & Information Science Students.

Whether by gathering and coordinating the Spring Fling committee, recruiting and shepherding the Silverfish staff, or sponsoring an amendment to the ALISS bylaws, I was constantly involved in the student leadership of the iSchool. In the section below, I describe and reflect on these activities in detail.
