Designing for the algorithm

After a year of focusing on still images and GIFs, we found that videos consistently outperformed static content in both organic reach and engagement. With this insight, we implemented a strategy to incorporate at least three videos per month, aiming to boost key metrics.

We also discovered that our audience responded more strongly to data-driven content and engaged more with animated feature breakdowns when compared to static UI images. These animations not only improved understanding of our product but also helped tell a story that was difficult to communicate through still images.

By designing with performance in mind, we significantly expanded our social reach—driving a nearly 150% increase in followers, alongside higher click-through rates and increased likes.
